LCG Foods sat down with CEO of Origo Foods, Jui Ming Cheng, and asked him some questions to better understand the brand's mission, core values, and other topics that we thought our retail partners might want to know.

What motivated you to start your company and create the products that we see today? Kids. I have 3 kids, and as parents, my wife and I always want to give the kids the best quality snacks to help them build positive eating habits.
What are your company’s core values? Understanding parents and walking the extra mile with them.
If you could tell a retailer three things about what makes your brand different, what would they be?
What are some challenges you've had to overcome to bring your business to its current state? The biggest challenge has been educating customers on the differences between freeze-dried fruit and regular dehydrated fruits. Customers like freeze-dried fruits very much once they sample the products.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? I have been doing Farmer's markets for 3 years now. I enjoy talking to customers and sharing with them the differences between regular fruit snacks and freeze-dried fruits, and why they should choose freeze-dried for their kids.
