Interview with Jonathan Carp, President of Miracle Noodle
LCG Foods sat down with Miracle Noodle's President, Jonathan Carp, and asked him some questions to better understand the brand's vision, core values, and other topics that we thought potential retail partners would want to know.

What motivated you to start your company and create the products that we see today? I am Medical Doctor with a passion for nutrition. In 2006, I came across this product in Japan and was blown away by the potential benefit to consumer’s health. I came back from Japan and started this business with my family. Being able to enjoy what feels like comfort food without the carbs is amazing.
What are your company’s core values? We are a family company. We treat you with the honesty and trust we would expect from ourselves.
If you could tell a retailer three things about what makes your brand different, what would they be? a. Traditional recipe just like the Buddhist monks that invented this product over a thousand years ago.
What are some of the challenges that you've overcome to bring your business to its current state? Our biggest challenge has been how to educate customers on how best to use our product both to enhance their health but also how to recreate foods that they no longer can eat due to special diets or just the desire to eat healthier.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work? I enjoy educating people about the 4 pillars of health: nutrition, mental state, environment influences, and movement / exercise and do so on my daily blog at carps.blog. I also love Japanese Sake and am a certified Sake sommelier.
